Optometrists
Meet Sarah....
Sarah Farrant has always shown a keen interest to be at the forefront of the profession. She has a specialist interest in therapeutics and dry eye as well as being a skilled contact lens practitioner. She lectures internationally and is a trustee of the college of optometrists. More locally she is heavily involved in the Somerset Local Optical Committee and was instrumental in setting up the new local ACES eye scheme. She has the new Diploma in Glaucoma and is an independent prescriber.
Introducing Edward...
Edward Farrant has a wide scope of practice within the profession. He has particular interests in acute eye care and glaucoma, and also works at Bristol Eye Hospital as a specialist optometrist. He also has a keen interest in general optometry and has expert knowledge in contact lenses. He has recently achieved the Diploma in Glaucoma and is also an independent prescriber.
